About Bryan Campbell
A creative with more than 30 years’ experience in design, immersive events.
As Creative Production and Set Designer for the award-winning Forensic Psychology Unit at Goldsmiths, University of London, he helps transform true crime and forensic psychology into immersive public experiences. He is also Head Ghost Maker at the London Ghost Company, creating strange, spectral characters inspired by the darker corners of London’s history.
His relationship with horror began far too young, when an irresponsible father allowed him to watch The Exorcist on VHS. Any remaining hope of a normal childhood disappeared with An American Werewolf in London - still his favourite film, and the source of a lifelong conviction that being eaten by a werewolf remains an entirely plausible way to die.
Halloween has been his Christmas ever since.
Now, as Special Effects Lead, he’s bringing three decades of creative experience - and a lifetime obsession with horror - to a much bigger playground.
His goal is simple: to create a fully immersive nightmare that attacks every sense. Atmosphere, sound, light, texture, smell, effects and the things you only glimpse out of the corner of your eye all have a part to play.
Because the best horror isn’t something you watch….
It’s something you survive.
