About Daniel Stockton

Born in the neon sprawl of Los Angeles but raised in the shadows of rural Kentucky, Daniel’s veins run thick with the spirit of the American autumn. For him, the changing seasons brought an obsession with the macabre and the magical. He gorged on trick-or-treating, moonlit hayrides, and the eerie twilight of the pumpkin patch.

That passion bled into reality in 2025. Deep within the ancient, mist-veiled grounds of Crystal Palace Park, Daniel materialized a nightmare. Alongside visionary designer Julie Speer and master carpenter Scott Boyce, they birthed the park’s first-ever immersive haunt. Their creations—the family-friendly 'Haunted House Festival' and the unforgiving 'Haunted House Extreme'—did not just entertain. They sent pure, adrenaline-fueled terror screaming into the dark. Terrified guests survived the shadows, only to immediately demand another turn.

Now, the gateway opens once more.

Daniel’s obsession was sparked by a cinematic masterpiece. In 1978, director John Carpenter and producer Debra Hill unleashed Halloween on a shoestring budget of just $300,000. It went on to gross over $47 million, permanently transforming the landscape of horror cinema. It forever cursed the fictional town of Haddonfield, Illinois—and ignited the spark that brings this very nightmare to your doorstep.

what was living behind that boy's

TRAINING

​

Daniel gained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Theatre and a minor in French

from Morehead State University in Kentucky, and trained professionally as an actor at the

American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Daniel can next be seen in JJ Abrams new film THE GREAT BEYOND released in cinema's in November 2026.​​​​​​​​​​​

Dame Dolly Dumpling in Sleeping Beauty at The Towngate Theatre, Herman The Henchman (opposite Priscilla Presley) in Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs directed by Warwick Davis, Dame Tuck in Robin Hood at the Oxford Playhouse, MAF/cover Edna Turnblad in Hairspray UK Tour, Joey in Sister Act UK Tour,  The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz at The Woodville Halls, choir member in the Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Concert at London’s O2 Arena, Roscoe ‘Fatty ‘ Arbuckle in the original cast of Sweet FA at the New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth and Jamie in My Fair Lady at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre in Wales directed by Michael Bogdanov.

In the West End he has understudied and played Enjolras, Thernardier, Grantaire, Factory Foreman and The Bishop of Digne in Les Miserables, and also on the National Tour.

Other credits include: Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Oliver ‘Daddy’ Warbucks in Annie, Swing/Cover Stewpot in Trevor Nunn’s version of South Pacific at the Royal National Theatre, and originated the roles of The Parrot in Tom Eyen’s Melody of the Glittering Parrot and Stefan Lane in Phil Willmott’s Dick Daredevil.

Daniel also appeared on This Morning with Richard and Judy (Les Misérables tour promotion).
