Timothy James Curry (

19 April 1946 – 25 August 2026) 

 

shot to global fame by originating the gender-defying, sweet transvestite scientist in the stage production of

'The Rocky Horror Show' in 1973),later reprising the role for the 1975 cult classic film, 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'

He spent his final years in Los Angeles, releasing his definitive memoir, Vagabond, in 2025 before passing away in August 2026 at the age of 80. ​
